"TIBETAN BOOTS" - Lhasa. Handmade Tibetan boots hang in a merchant's stall in the ancient Bhakhor marketplace which surrounds the most sacred Jokhang Temple.

"PRAYER WHEELS" - Lhasa. Prayer wheels line perimeter of the Jokhang Temple in the ancient Bakhor in Lhasa.

"NORBULINKA" - Lhasa. Norbuinka - the winter home of the exiled 14th Dalai Llama.

"WARM HANDS" - Lhasa. Multi-colored layers of clothing to keep warm at the 12,000 foot Himalayan capitol of Lhasa.

"MONK AND PRAYER WHEEL" - Lhasa. Drepung Monastery. Turning prayer wheels releases the good wishes written inside the prayer wheel to the heavens.
